About Me
I’m a resourceful, engaged and creative person who enjoys learning, developing myself and enabling others. As a nanny, I am alert and vigilant, prioritising above all else the safety and security of the children in my care. Beyond this, I am both sensitive and resilient, eager to establish my role within a family as a friend and mentor. I always have fun with the children I care for and I believe strongly that children should see their nanny as an ally and companion, somebody who can be firm when necessary but is far from a sterile figure of authority. I understand the importance of balancing children's need for developing routine with more spontaneous, creative and diverse activity. I believe that we are creatures who flourish in rich contexts and this can be especially true of young children. I also appreciate that all children are complex and unique individuals and I trust in my intuition to pick up on the subtleties of their character in order to connect with them meaningfully. My interests are broad, ranging from philosophy and literature to sports, film-making, meditation and permaculture. I am well-travelled & thrive in new environments. I’m a warm and instinctively caring person who feels at ease with people of all kinds.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for five years. I have taken care of children aged 3-12, both boys and girls, as a live-in nanny with sole charge of 4 children and in live-out positions taking care of just one child. I have experience in all areas of children's lives - cooking them healthy meals, getting them dressed and doing the school run, taking them to after-school activities, arranging playdates, helping them with homework, getting them clean and ready for bed, bed-time stories and everything in-between!
My Qualifications
I have an A-Level in Health and Social Care which includes a module of Child Care and Child Development. My work placements during this time were in Primary Schools.

- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
