Hallie
Nanny in Stevenage
My Summary
About Me
A kind, compassionate, dependable nanny who has 7 years of experience with children ranging
from 0 – 16 years of age, this includes working with children with SEND and/or medical needs. I
make it my responsibility to ensure I understand and adapt to any SEND diagnosis or EHCP plan
to help meet individual needs so that they have fair access to any curriculum or developmental
opportunities. I am up to date with current safeguarding guidelines and health and safety policies;
through developed risk assessments and well-practiced safeguarding procedures I am able to
ensure the safety and wellbeing of any child or young person in my care. In addition, I constantly
review any healthy eating recommendations to ensure that those in my care have access to
nutritional meals whilst adapting where necessary for those that have any special dietary
requirements. As a personal lover of the outdoors, I enjoy exploring and reaping the benefits of
nature whilst using the surrounding environments to enhance age-appropriate activities and
opportunities for children to enjoy and learn from whilst creating independence. I pride myself on
being organised and am known for being a strong communicator. As a Nanny when working in
partnership with the parent’s, communication, and organisation work hand in hand, it is vital to
keep parents or carers up to date with their child’s development regularly and will often request
meetings to discuss any concerns. But for day to day, I do this through daily logbooks/journals
which keep track of daily progress. This builds consistency and trust, two attributes that are
fundamental to a strong working relationship.
