About Me
I am a calm, positive 25 year old who is based in the centre of Harrogate. My qualifications include MSc Psychology in Education, a first class degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Level 3 Diploma in early years childcare and education. I have 7 years of experience in schools, nurseries, and summer clubs working with children aged 9months to 11 years.
My ultimate goal is making sure all children that I work with feel safe and listened to and use positive behaviour strategies to implement this. I am a very adaptable and hard working individual and pride myself on having an outlook that is both empathetic and optimistic. In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, reading, yoga, cooking/baking, and being outdoors.

My Experience
Relevant experience includes working primarily with children aged 3-7 in a primary school where I worked full time for 2 years and then on a relief basis during my time at university. Following this, I have also worked in nursery environments with children aged 9 months to 5 years.
My Qualifications
I have completed an MSc Psychology in Education and hold a first class degree in Early Childhood Studies. I have a level 3 extended diploma in early years childcare and education as well as a level 3 certificate in supporting children's Speech, language and communication. I have undergone a level 2 food hygiene course, paediatric first-aid training as well as safeguarding and allergy awareness. I have also undergone training on Autism and ADHD awareness and a level 3 certificate in child psychology.
