About Me
I am a calm, positive 24 year old who will be undertaking an Msc in Psychology in Education in September following my completion of a first class degree in Early Childhood Studies where I specialised in Education for Sustainability, a huge passion of mine! I hold a Level 3 Diploma in early years childcare and education and have 5 years of experience in schools, nurseries, and summer clubs working with children aged 9months to 11 years.
My ultimate goal is making sure all children that I work with feel safe and listened to and use positive behaviour strategies to implement this. I am a very adaptable and hard working individual and pride myself on having an outlook that is both empathetic and optimistic. In my spare time, I like to take part in amateur musical theatre and enjoy knitting, reading, yoga, cooking/baking, singing and being outdoors. I am fully vaccinated.

My Experience
Relevant experience includes working primarily with children aged 3-7 in a primary school where I worked full time for 2 years and then on a relief basis during my time at university. I have also worked in a day nursery with children aged 9 months to 5 years.
My Qualifications
I hold a first class degree in Early Childhood Studies for which I was awarded the highest grade in the School of Education, Language and Psychology. I have a level 3 extended diploma in early years childcare and education as well as a level 3 certificate in supporting children's Speech, language and communication. I have undergone a level 2 food hygiene course, paediatric first-aid training as well as safeguarding and allergy awareness. I have also undergone training on Autism and ADHD awareness and a level 3 certificate in child psychology. From September 2024, I will be undertaking an MSc in Psychology in Education.
My Availability
With some notice I am able to work most evenings, weekends and school holidays, please message me about other availability as I may be able to meet your needs. I currently have increased availability during August and September.
