My Summary
About Me
Hello, my name is Zoha and I am a dedicated and compassionate SEN tutor with a strong academic and professional background in supporting children with additional needs.
I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Mental Health, which give me a deep understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and the unique challenges faced by children with Special Educational Needs. Alongside my academic training, I have hands-on experience working in a SEN school, where I support children with a wide range of needs in both educational and social settings.
I have also worked with organisations such as MAPS Mentor and Shout Crisis, which has strengthened my ability to provide calm, empathetic, and effective support, particularly for children who may struggle with anxiety, low confidence, or emotional regulation.
I specialise in working one-to-one with children with Autism and ADHD, helping them to:
Build confidence and self-esteem
Develop independence in learning and daily tasks
Improve focus, emotional regulation, and coping strategies
Strengthen communication and social skills
Engage positively with education in a way that suits their individual learning style
My approach is patient, structured, and child-centred. I adapt each session to meet your child’s specific needs, using evidence-based strategies, positive reinforcement, and creative methods to keep learning engaging and meaningful.
I understand that every child is different, and I work closely with parents to ensure consistent support and progress. My goal is not only to support academic development, but also to help your child feel understood, capable, and confident in themselves.
If you are looking for a supportive, reliable, and experienced SEN tutor who truly cares about your child’s wellbeing and progress, I would love to help.
Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your child’s needs.
