About Me
Hello! My name is Lucy and I am very much Cheltenham born and bred, I have a real passion for childcare and am currently available for nannying work whilst furloughed from my roles within a school and as a term time nanny. From growing up with lots of nannies I understand that tailoring every day, activity or homework session to your child is of the utmost importance, and I am very happy to be flexible in terms of activities and schedules in order to accommodate this. I love baking, arts and crafts and the outdoors, and am very happy to try out any other activities that may be of interest to your child! I am due to start teacher training in September with Teach First to be a secondary school geography teacher.
My Experience
I have worked in a school environment for the past two years. My main role is as a live in staff member in a boarding house looking after over 50 girls with a small team both during the day and overnight. As well as nannying children from the ages of 18months to 10 years old.
My Qualifications
(I)GCSE 9A* and 1A
International Baccalaureate 41 points (out of 45)
Criminology and Law BA (in progress, predicted First Class Honours)
My Availability
Relatively flexible and happy to work to suit the family’s needs. If longer days are required I would need to factor in my one year old Daschund, Nellie.
