My Summary
About Me
HI,
I am a caring, reliable and passionate childcare professional with over 10 years of experience supporting children and families. I have a Level 3 Childcare qualification, Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant training, Paediatric First Aid certification, and I am currently completed my BSc (Hons) Psychology degree, which has further developed my understanding of child development, behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
I have experience working with children of different ages and abilities, including children with additional needs, autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued, understood and supported.
I am a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including communication needs, emotional regulation and positive behaviour support. I also have training and practical experience in safeguarding, child development and person-centred support.
I would describe myself as empathetic, patient and attentive, with a natural ability to build trusting relationships with children. I believe every child is unique and deserves an approach that recognises their individual strengths, interests and needs.
In my childcare practice, I enjoy supporting children through creative and educational activities such as reading, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, cooking and outdoor play. I also enjoy helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills through everyday experiences.
I have completed professional placements in kindergarten and primary school settings, worked as a nanny/babysitter for different families, and volunteered in an orphanage, which strengthened my commitment to supporting children's wellbeing and development.
I am currently based in Putney and I am happy to travel. I am available for part-and full time nanny positions .
