My Experience

I have extensive professional nanny and family-support experience gained over many years in London, the UK and internationally. I have worked in full-time sole-charge, live-in, rota, travel, temporary, weekend and holiday roles for private families, including high-net-worth households.

I have cared for children from newborn age through to school age and teenagers. My responsibilities have included establishing and maintaining routines; nursery and school runs; planning educational, creative and outdoor activities; organising playdates and outings; preparing healthy meals; supporting sleep routines; arranging children’s wardrobes and belongings; travelling with families; and communicating closely with parents.

Most recently, I worked as a full-time, sole-charge nanny for a family in Knightsbridge, caring for their child from 18 months until nearly 3 years old. I planned daily developmental activities, supported healthy eating and independence, organised outings and playdates, and worked closely with the parents to maintain consistent routines and developmental goals. I continued to support the family on an ad-hoc basis afterwards, reflecting the strong and trusted relationship we built.

I also have special educational needs experience. In a previous role, I supported a toddler and a non-verbal autistic child, using Makaton sign language and Montessori-inspired approaches to encourage communication, confidence and development.

I am experienced in supporting busy working parents and understand the importance of reliability, discretion, calm organisation and clear daily communication. I am comfortable taking initiative while always respecting each family’s preferences, routines and parenting style.

I hold an Enhanced DBS with Children’s Barred List and can provide excellent written references from previous employers.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)

My standard rate starts from £16 gross per hour for regular nanny and family-support roles in Clacton-on-Sea and the surrounding Tendring area.

My rate may vary depending on the number and ages of children, contracted hours, responsibilities, special educational needs support, travel, driving, cooking, family-assistant duties and whether the role is permanent, temporary or ad-hoc.

For short-notice, evening, weekend or ad-hoc babysitting, my rate starts from £18 gross per hour.

I am happy to discuss a suitable rate and employment arrangement with the right family. Mileage and agreed work-related travel expenses should be covered where relevant.
