About Me
I'm the kind of childcare worker that uses a gentle approach which is child led. I believe it's important, especially during the early years, to follow the development of the child. I also incorporate structured activities but tend to shift them depending on what each individual needs. I'm a compassionate and kind person that adores working with children.
My Experience
I have a variety of experience working with early years children such as one to one English language tutoring, volunteering with a non-profit called Kids Vote, as well as being a qualified Kids Yoga Teacher. I’m also a vocalist and started a kids playgroup called Happy Monkeys whilst living in Greece, which was centered around using music and dance to engage with children.
In addition to the above, having my own child has enabled me to gain a significant amount of experience in childcare. I absolutely adore children and feel that adults could learn a great deal from them. Their developmental process in the early years is fascinating to me and I fully understand that being able to communicate well with kids depending on their individual needs is an essential quality to have.
My Qualifications
Rainbow Kids Yoga instructor, Safeguarding Certificate, DBS checked, and currently studying for my Level 2 which will be finished at the end of July.
