I am a mother of 2, live with my husband and children in a spacious home, with a large child friendly garden . My ethos is to provide a home from home environment, filled with love, laughter, and a wide range of experiences, ensuring children have ample opportunities to reach their potential. I enjoy walking with the children in our local community as we discover, together, the wonders of the world. Building a strong relationship with a child's parents is important to me as this ensures your and your child feel safe and comfortable in my care. We have a new addition, a well behaved and friendly cockerpoo (small, non molting).

Lisa is a fantastic childminder and second mum to our children. We have been using her for 4 years and wouldn’t choose anybody else. She welcomes the children into her family and home so they feel comfortable and secure. She does a variety of activities with them at home and at groups, and she is always developing their whole personality - she picks up on their interests and slots learning opportunities in; she has a firm but gentle approach to discipline and the children behave amazingly; she gets the children involved in the wider community, especially with the older generations, so learning pride, compassion and resilience; and she has a wonderful space inside and outside, where the children are safe to explore their physical capabilities and limitations.
We feel safe knowing our children are being well cared for and loved and that Lisa will respond to their needs as we do. She is child-led, very hands on and responds to their affection appropriately (my eldest likes lots of reassuring cuddles when upset). He knows she is a safe person and can talk to her about anything. He sees her family as an extension of his own and we often have to drag him away, he’s having so much fun.
I would have no hesitation in recommending her, and have to a few of my newer mummy friends.
