About Me
My name is Leyane and I am 26 years old. I am an energetic, kind and friendly individual who genuinely loves caring for and supporting children as they grow and learn. I always aim to create a fun, engaging and safe environment where children feel happy, comfortable and confident. Whether I am supporting through childcare or teaching, I want every child to enjoy their time with me and feel that they have learned, grown and had fun along the way.
My Experience
I’m a Psychological Therapist with a strong background in working with children and young people of all ages, from toddlers through to teenagers. I’ve supported children in mainstream schools, private nurseries, SEN settings and private mental health services. I’m confident in working with a wide range of personalities, learning styles and additional needs.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I provide one-to-one support in Maths and English, help children with their emotional regulation and support families who may be navigating autism and/or ADHD pathways. I understand that every child is different and I always aim to create a calm, safe and encouraging environment where they feel understood and supported.
I currently offer one-to-one sessions and carry out autism and ADHD assessments, but I also genuinely enjoy hands-on childcare. I’m patient, nurturing and attentive and I prioritise building trusting relationships with both children and parents.
