Hello, my name is Priscilla. I am 32 years old, originally from Brazil, and currently living in Scotland (Living in Scotland for the last 6 years). I have several years of childcare experience working with children of different ages and backgrounds, including children with additional support needs and disabilities.
I am a caring, reliable and positive person who genuinely enjoys supporting children’s development, creativity and wellbeing. Over the years, I have worked as an au pair, nanny and babysitter, caring for children from newborn age through to teenagers. I also have personal experience helping care for my niece since she was born.
I am also a mother to a wonderful 19-month-old daughter, who will be part of this journey with me. Becoming a parent has strengthened my passion for childcare even further and has given me valuable daily experience in creating a loving, safe and stimulating environment for young children.
Alongside childcare, I have previously been involved in community and volunteer projects supporting children and families, including activities for underprivileged communities and children with additional needs.
I speak Portuguese, English and Spanish, and I always aim to create a warm, safe and supportive environment for the children in my care.
I am currently in the process of registering as a childminder in the Kinghorn/Kirkcaldy area, with availability expected from July/August onwards. I am now organizing my future childcare spaces, availability and business schedule.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
Regarding my fees, I'll write a text about the amount I charged in Edinburgh, which was 14 pounds per hour. I'm deciding on the rate to charge in the Fife area based on the rent I'm paying to have adequate space for the children, as I will only have space for 5 children. The rate will not be the base rate charged in the city due to the high cost of the rented space, which I need to cover along with the work involved. Initially, I only have space reserved for 2 days a week because I have no more days available for the rent, and the reservation is for a full day, which is Monday and Tuesday at the moment.
