About Me
Hi, I’m Alice, age 25, a creative, friendly and caring childcare professional based in Somerset.
I love working with children and helping them grow in confidence through fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities. I currently run my own dance school in the evenings, where I teach and support children aged 2.5–16 years.
Alongside this, I am looking for part-time childcare and family support opportunities to further widen my experience working with children and their families. I am passionate about building positive relationships, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and supporting each child’s individual needs.
Whether it’s playing games, arts and crafts, helping with routines, or simply providing a caring and reliable presence, I strive to make children feel happy, comfortable and supported whilst giving parents peace of mind.
I also love organising and helping around the home. If you need an extra pair of hands with tidying, laundry, sorting cupboards, general household tasks or keeping things organised, I’m more than happy to help alongside childcare duties.
My Experience
I have been working with children since I was 18 years old in a variety of educational and extracurricular settings.
I currently own and run Star Dance Company, where I teach and support children aged 2.5–16 years through weekly classes, workshops and performances. This has given me valuable experience in building children’s confidence, planning engaging activities and working closely with families.
Alongside running my dance school, I have worked within primary schools, including supporting children on a casual basis and as a Teaching Assistant. Through these roles I have gained experience supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and individual needs, whilst building positive relationships with both children and parents.
I am passionate about helping children thrive and enjoy creating fun, safe and engaging environments where they can learn, grow and have fun.

I currently run my own dance school in the evenings, so I am primarily available for:
• Weekday mornings and (some afternoons)
• School hours

• School holidays
