About Me
My name is Teresa Phillips, and I am the lead childminder at Sunny Days at Teresa's. We offer a positive and friendly setting for children where they are free to play and explore a range of activities we have on offer in a dedicated 'micro-nursery' space. I work alongside my daughter and we have created an environment that supports learning and development per the eyfs curriculum. Our dedicated space offers a range of toys and activities in addition to a well-equipped garden which we use in all weathers. Our people carriers enable us to enjoy other experiences, such as toddler groups, woodland exploring and trips to the park, as well as enjoying activities closer to home. Drop-off and Collection are available for Witley Infant School (from Sept 23), and Chandler Junior School.
My Experience
I have over 30 years of experience in Childcare, working with children from birth upwards. I have five children of my own, four grandchildren and one foster child. Having worked in childcare since I had my own children, I am adept at working with children with a range of different needs and have been trained in working with challenging behaviours. I am Ofsted registered and first aid trained, as are my assistants, in addition to ongoing training across a range of childcare disciplines as part of being a foster carer. Our most recent Ofsted report was Good, with outstanding in behaviour and attitudes toward the children.
