About Me
My name is Caz and I was a higher level Teaching Assistant until recently as I now want to concentrate on my outdoor business and tutoring.I have over 25 years of working with children from EYFS upwards. I am also setting up a childminding service for cover in the school holidays. I have applied for the ofsted register which once completed i will be able to have younger children. My age range will be from 2.5 to 13year olds and my setting is called Woodland Friends Childminding part of Suffolk Outdoor Learning.In 2007 i won the Suffolk County Council Playworker of the year and my passion is nature and the outdoor environment. I also run a small non profit business called Suffolk Outdoor Learning and I run groups across Suffolk from pond dipping to forest school all with the correct permits and permission.
I am free daily throughout the year except for arranged bookings.
I am to home tutor during the day and some evenings for children in KS1 and KS2.
I am Level 5 EYFS qualified and PANCo.
My Experience
i have worked in education for 25 years. I have worked from preschool up to 18 years olds. I was the manager of Ravenswood School After School and Holiday Cub.I have worked with ages across the school and have also worked a year at Highfield Nursery with the preschool children. I was a Petty Officer with the Junior section so have worked with older children as well. I am passionate about the outdoors and have just built a mud and water kitchen in the garden. I am called Woodland Friends Childcare and Suffolk Outdoor Learning.
My Qualifications
I have Level 5 EYFS Senior Practitioner and L4 PANCo full first aid, food hygeine,level 2 and 3 Playwork,Level 4 HLTA,Risk assessment,safeguarding, prevent, public liabilty, sports coach and forest/bushcraft.
My Availability
I am only available term time only .
My Fees
- Tutoring from £15.00 per hour
My fees would be based on a hourly rate starting from £15 a child.Depending which subject and Level.
