I am a busy/happy/positive/awakened mum of gifted non-speakers.
My Requirements
I'm looking for a kind, reliable and patient person to spend a couple of hours at home with my 16-year-old son while I'm out. He is autistic and has Down syndrome, and his adult sister will also be present throughout, so this is primarily a companionship and supervisory role rather than sole responsibility. Experience supporting autistic people or those with additional needs would be preferred, particularly if personal care were ever needed, but it isn't essential, as his sister knows his routines well. Above all, I'm looking for someone caring, calm, dependable and happy to help create a relaxed, safe environment.
