My Requirements

I'm looking for a kind, reliable and patient person to spend a couple of hours with my 16-year-old son while I'm out. He is autistic and has Down syndrome, and his adult sister will also be present throughout, so this is primarily a companionship and supervisory role rather than sole responsibility. I usually drive him from Bexhill to my daughter's home in Eastbourne before I go out, so the role could suit someone based in either area, either travelling with us from Bexhill or meeting us in Eastbourne. Experience supporting autistic people or those with additional needs would be preferred, particularly if personal care were ever needed, but it isn't essential, as his sister knows his routines well. Above all, I'm looking for someone caring, calm, dependable and happy to help create a relaxed and safe environment.
