About Me
Hi! I'm Louise, owner of Lou's Little Ones. I have been Married since June 2016 and a mother to three wonderful boys (currently 9, 7 and 1 years old). My husband and I love to explore Europe and new cultures so we enjoy a family adventure annually. I live in Newbury, close to the West Berkshire Hospital and Newbury Racecourse. I am enthusiastic about my job and responsibilities in the childcare sector, in which the children are always priority. I love to be outdoors come rain or shine (preferably shine mind) and experiment different ways to be creative. I am driven to help anyone achieve and succeed in anything they want to. I decided after my last son that it was the childcare industry is where I belong, at home with children - encouraging them to learn, develop and grow to become fantastic people.
My Experience
I have been ambitious to work with children since secondary education. My work experience was at the local primary school my children currently attend. I continued to further education at Newbury college qualifying in Beauty and Holistic Therapies at the highest level, however it was clear I preferred a less 'glamourous' career. I started to have children of my own and found that the retail industry worked extremely well around my home life and so successfully reached management level before leaving to have my last son. I come from a large growing family where I have cared for the children from new-born right up to 13, this could be during the day, evenings and weekends and also for family friends and work colleagues. I am newly registered since 2019 and hope to gain much more than just experience.
My Qualifications
NVQ CACHE level 3 Preparing to work in home-based childcare.
PACEY Safeguarding children Level 2
Understanding Autism.
Paediatric First Aid
Food Hygiene level 2
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday from 7:00am until 17:30pm. I will provide a school pick-up/drop off to and from the Fir tree Primary School only. I will remain open over bank holidays (excluding the Christmas period) at double my hourly rate - (Please see fees). I intent to take 4 weeks holiday on average a year.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fees are charged per Hour. my fees are doubled during bank holidays. I intend to take up to 4 weeks holidays a year in which no fees charged to parents/carers. If child is absent due to sickness or holiday, fees still apply.
