Nanny in London (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I’m an actress based in Hackney Wick, East London, originally from Brighton. My work has given me the opportunity to travel around the world through the arts, and I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me cooking, trying new recipes or spending time with family and friends. I’m a patient, caring and reliable person who loves encouraging children’s creativity and imagination through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures. I pride myself on being a great listener and creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel happy, confident and safe.
My Experience
Growing up, both of my parents were foster carers, so throughout my teenage years I was surrounded by children of all ages, from newborns to five-year-olds. Being part of a fostering household gave me invaluable hands-on experience supporting children’s daily routines, development and wellbeing, and it sparked a genuine passion for working with children. I also come from a large family, where I’ve always been actively involved in caring for younger relatives.
As a teenager, I ran a local youth club, led drama sessions and organised puppetry workshops, which helped me develop confidence in engaging children through creativity, play and storytelling.
My passion for performance naturally led me to combine acting with children’s education. I toured Germany teaching English through theatre to children and young people aged 4–18, delivering interactive workshops that encouraged confidence, communication and creativity. I also performed in and facilitated children’s theatre productions in the UK, including Alice in Wonderland, working with younger audiences and helping to create fun, engaging learning experiences.
During the Covid pandemic, I began working as a nanny, caring for two families. I looked after a four-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl before moving to North London, where I worked both full-time and part-time with another family, caring for their 18-month-old and five-year-old. It was incredibly rewarding to support the children as they grew and reached important developmental milestones. I remained with the family until the youngest child started preschool, when my role naturally became part-time.
Alongside this, I now spend most weekends caring for my two-year-old nephew, which has given me continued hands-on experience with toddlers and strengthened my understanding of their routines, development and individual needs.
For the past year, I have been working as a producer across films and commercial campaigns. Much of my work involves producing projects featuring child actors, where I work closely with young performers and their families. My role includes directing children on set, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident throughout the production process, while maintaining high standards of safeguarding and prioritising their wellbeing at all times.
I am currently taking a short break from project-based production work to focus on personal creative projects, and I am looking forward to returning to a role where I can combine my creativity, responsibility and genuine enjoyment of working with children.
