Hello!
My name is Caitlin. I am an experienced nanny with 10 plus years experience of working with children. My background is in child psychology and child development.
As a person, I am upbeat, creative and very caring.
Due to my academic career and extensive work experience I have a very good understanding of children’s development, particularly in relation to communication and psychology.
I have a BA first-class hons in Spanish and Linguistics and experience in Speech and Language therapy.

Temporary nanny-share for 10 month old baby boy and 6 month old baby girl in Finsbury Park.
Full-time nanny for 9 month old baby boy in Hackney for 3 years. Remain close friends with the family and care for him on an adhoc basis (now 4 years old).
Full-time nanny for 10 month old girl and 3 year old girl for 1 year in Richmond.
Approach:
As a nanny, I work in a child-directed manner, creating learning opportunities and autonomy wherever possible.
I am fun, playful and gentle, but also a strong believer of the importance of boundaries and structure - I live by the wise saying 'firm but fair'
I am safeguarding and first-aid trained.
My Qualifications
I have a BA 1st class honours in Spanish and Linguistics.
As well as many years of childcare experience and nannying I am also a trained Intermediary (communication specialist). As an Intermediary I worked with the police. I would facilitate communication between child victims and the police in forensic interviews.
