About me:

My name is Caitlin. I am an experienced nanny with 10 plus years experience of working with children. My background is in child psychology and child development.

Nannying approach:

As a nanny, I work in a child-directed manner, creating learning opportunities and facilitating autonomy wherever possible.

I am fun, light-hearted, playful and gentle, but also a strong believer of the importance of boundaries and structure - I live by the wise saying 'firm but fair' :)

I am very experienced with all ages - babies through to teens.

I also have extensive safe-guarding and child protection training from working with the ministry of justice :)

My hobbies/ interests are:

Full-time nanny for 1 year old baby boy in Islington (ending 27th Feb 2026)

Previous:

Part-time nanny for 10 month old boy in Islington

Nanny-share for 10 month old baby boy and 6 month old baby girl in Finsbury Park.

Full-time nanny for 9 month old baby boy in Hackney for 3 years. Remain close friends with the family and care for him on an adhoc basis (now 4 years old).

Full-time nanny for 10 month old girl and 3 year old girl for 1 year in Richmond.

My Qualifications

I have a BA 1st class honours in Spanish and Linguistics.

As well as many years of childcare experience and nannying I am also a trained Intermediary (Communication Specialist) and Forensic Interviewer. As an Intermediary I worked with the police, I facilitated communication between child witnesses and the police in interviews.
