Amazing childminder

Our son has been with Lisa since being 18 months old- 2.5 years. Lisa has been fantastic. She has always been accommodating, especially as I work different shifts each week. Lisa is very kind and provided our son with a caring environment within her own home. She also visited local parks and playgroups, and also encouraged them in creative play such as painting and crafts.
Lisa was also amazing at updating us throughout the day with pictures and messages.
Our son settled very quickly with Lisa and used to enjoy going. We are only changing childcare setting as we have moved area, Lisa will be missed very much! Thank you

Cannot recommend more highly

I have been with Lisa since my son was 7 months old amd my daughter was 2, they have been with her for about 4 years and she has seen them both through to school.

She has looked after both my son and daughter over this time and she has been nothing but incredible.

She is reliable and in 4 years I can count on 1 hand the amount of times she has had to be unexpectedly off. If anything to her work schedule changes she gives plenty of notice and works with you as a parent where she can.

My son has several allergies and she has been excellent and professional in helping us while we were finding out about them one reaction at at time and played a significant role in helping us identify some problem foods and has also been amazing at ensuring his safety with food in her setting.

Both my children have started school well prepared, shes taught them so much and they both started school well equipped with understanding of some letters and numbers to 10. Developmentally she has made sure they are on track and suppourted us through all the usual hard bits like toilet training and transitioning from a dummy and dropping naps. They socialise with other children regularlyfrom other childminding settings and have lots of outside time which I love. Every worry I had about my children was put at ease by Lisa. Her setting is a home from home and the kids thrive there.

She has genuine love for her job and my kids love her dearly. I cannot recommend her enough and we are truly sad that the kids are too old to be with Lisa full time.

Lisa is absolutely brilliant

My son is with Lisa since February since he was 10 months old - as a first time mum with not having her family around it was hard for me to find someone I can trust . Lisa been giving me from day one a very good feeling and very welcomed . The communication is also awesome - there was never a issue . She send pictures during the day or after the day - which I absolutely love . She also is very patient and a very caring person . My son is very clingy and sensitive but Lisa been always very patient with him . I love that Lisa is very flexible - if there is a short notice from my side regarding times Lisa made sure that it works out. She’s really looking after the needs of the children. Also my son is a very picky eater and she’s always making sure he gets what he eats. I really feel lucky that I have found Lisa I could not of asked for a better childminder for my son . The house has a real family atmosphere in a very positive way . I can highly recommended Lisa !

Brilliant, caring, top quality childcare provider

Lisa has looked after my son to an excellent standard. I would highly recomend her. He had seperation anxiety and she helped him settle, feel safe and enjoy the playing at her home. He really likes the variety of activities Lisa offers and trips to the park and library.

Very good experience

Loving, dedicated, understanding, flexible and a cheerful person, Lisa has helped our family in so many ways. I couldn't be more grateful for all the job she's done with our LG.
After visiting 5 nurseries and trying 1, we decided to try taking our girl to a childminder. We don't have any family to help us and our girl was used only with her mum and dad. She didn't have many experiences of being without us. We started at age 2, with 3h/day and in less than 2 weeks, she stoped crying when leaving her at Lisa's. And during this 2 weeks she would only cry for a little and settle. I know because Lisa kept me updated with photos and messages.
Also, we speak another language at home, and Lisa did offer to buy books in our language.
Our LG is not friend with food, and Lisa had to put an effort in there too, so she tried many types of food and we talked everyday about the menu, what was she eating.
Lisa has 3 wonderful children and because of the pandemic, our LG had the chance to meet them and become friends with them, they love each other.
When I go to pick up my LG, Lisa takes the time to tell me about their day. She's getting to discover our LG personality and she advised about what our LG could like to do as a sport.
They have many activities - painting, making cards, but also time spent outside - in the back garden or in the park.
For a first time mother, with no close family, having someone with experience in rising children to talk to about your baby's development is essential. And I think that in nursery is more difficult, where staff is changing often.
For all those reasons and others, I warmly recommend Lisa.
