About Me

After School Childcare, in my home or your home until 6pm. I am 54 years old from Chobham. I live with my long term partner of 35 years and have two children aged 29 & 27 years. Our son is a PE teacher at Valley End School and our daughter is a Web Designer for Eteach. I am a lover of family, flowers, gardening, dogs and walking. I am very much an outdoor girl. Having had two children and been a working mum I fully understand the difficulties of balancing work life and family life. My Experience

I have had a complete change of circumstances having been made redundant from Surrey Police 6 years ago because my job relocation was too far away. I currently work at Valley End C of E Infant School and have done for the last 6 years. I will be due to finish this summer term. My job role is SEN Teaching assistant and I am an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) Supervised under Psychology First, Drawing & Talking Practitioner, DBS checked, Safeguarding Keeping Children Safe in Education, Paediatric First Aid trained, Positive Behaviour Management trained.
Working with typical and neurotypical children up to the age of 7 years is very normal for me. I have varied skills to support children with needs. I have been taught these skills by various children's services that have assisted us in mainstream school. I have particular knowledge of Attention Autism Bucket, Colourful Semantics, Picture Exchange Communication (PECS).
Within school I have been playleader for lunch times and a member of the wrap around care before and after school.
Other advantages of working in a school setting is I am able to provide phonics support following Little Wandle scheme and Key Stage 1 maths from White Rose.
Miss. Green is also very good at playing and reading stories!
