About Me
I am a fully qualified History teacher and have been teaching for 20 years in secondary schools. I also have two grown up children and 7 grandchildren.
I have now left my teaching career and have started up my childcare business. I am wanting to offer a professional, friendly childcare service for families within the local area who are needing an experienced child care provider. My six grandsons, one granddaughter and my own two children, combined with my teaching career, have been immensely rewarding. After teaching, childcare has always been something that I have wanted to do. Within my teaching career I wanted to see early years of education and spent a year in an outstanding primary school, forming strong bonds with the children in my care.
I will be available for wrap around childcare in your home during all of the school academic year. I will also have some school holiday availability for childcare. I am happy to collect your children from school/nursery, sort out snacks, evening meal and help with homework. I will also do light house work if needed.

My Experience

My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified teacher. I have a PGCE BA History and a TEFL Teaching English as a foreign language.
My Availability
I will be available to start work from the 01/09/26 so please do feel free to make enquiries for any childcare provision you may be needing.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
I charge a flat rate of £17.00 per hour within 2 miles of Saffron Walden.
