About Me
Hi, I’m Tayla ? I’m 33 and recently settled back in Crawley. I’m a qualified early years teacher who has recently had a baby (almost 6 months old!) and I’m looking to gently ease back into work in my local area.
I currently have a few hours available each week for tutoring, with availability increasing over time. I’m friendly, reliable, and experienced in supporting children’s learning and development. I plan to return to full-time work from September 2026 with the new school term.

My Experience
I have over 12 years of childcare experience across a wide range of roles. Most recently, I have worked supporting children in my local area with homeschooling and tutoring, particularly those who needed additional academic or emotional support. Before this, I worked with an agency as a substitute teacher and as well as support roles in schools and nurseries across Sussex.
My previous experience also includes working as a higher level teaching assistant within both SEMH and SEND departments, a private nanny in Germany, and a play leader for holiday and after-school clubs. One of my favourite roles was working as an outdoor activity instructor at Blacklands Farm, where I taught children skills such as rock climbing and helped them build confidence and overcome their fears!
I’m passionate about creating a safe and supportive learning environment using a child led approach that allows children to learn at their own pace and feel encouraged to learn and grow.

- Tutoring from £19.00 per hour

In person 1:1 tutoring from £26ph
Babysitting £13 for 1 child, £16 for multiple children

Tayla Is am experienced tutor and certainly for our 8 years old girl, Tayla is the best tutor in her world. Although we have had other tutors before now but Tayla has taken our girls understanding of maths and other related subjects to an advanced level
Our who barely knew her 2times table now confidently does multiplication in 10's and 100s. One tayla taught her the formula, he just went boom. Her style ot tutoring is amazing and she definitely knows how to get the best out of your child. I will highly recommend her
