Proud mum to a grown up son at university. Fully qualified nanny and maternity nurse. I have ran my own business from my home the last 15 years and I also offer part time/ad hoc support regarding any baby or child issue.
Before my current baby business, I worked globally as a maternity nurse/trouble shooter and nanny for many years.
I am very knowledgeable and experienced in newborns, babies and all forms of child care. I am practical, totally trustworthy, modern in my approach, empathetic, supportive, professional, fun, active, energetic and committed to your needs.
I have a great interest in child development, behavioural challenges and child/adult psychology.
I have a great sense of humour and over 30 years professional experience of working closely with newborns and children of all ages up to teens. Both in a private capacity, world wide and in an NHS Maternity Hospital capacity.
I can offer emergency - short term or long term, part time care from newborn upwards.
I can offer one off trouble shooting for babies and children up to seven years old. I can come into your home and put suitable routines in place to suit your family’s needs. Support can be a one off or on a more regular basis of care if that works for both.

My Experience
30 years experience working in private homes in UK and world wide as a maternity nurse, nanny, child counsellor and proxy parent. Worked closely with midwives within our local NHS Hospital as a Maternity Postpartum Carer (assisting in deliveries and postnatal care).
Trouble shooter/supporter for newborn feeding/sleeping issues and children under seven.

Fully qualified Maternity Nurse & Fully Qualified Nanny BTEC In Nusery Nursing. Covering developmental stages of physical, emotional, psychological, behavioural, nutritional, sociological needs of babies and young children.
MTN Maternity trained. Covering sleeping and feeding needs of newborns and babies.
City & Guilds Child Care and Development. Covering all developmental needs of babies and children up to the age of seven years old.
Paediatric first aid.
Fully FIrst Aid Trained.
NHS & privately trained Breastfeeding certificates.
Fully qualified Swim England swimming teacher.
Ex lifeguard.

Nanny/Maternity- Days or nights. Short term - Occasional 24hrs Ad hoc or proxy parent (staying in your home if you need to work away or take a childfree break). Temporary contracts. Ad hoc to suit. Flexible.
