About Me
Hello I’m Sam I’m a registered childminder based in Cobham, I’m married with to children 19 year old and a 3 year old.
I started childminding to hopefully help parents feel confident to go to work knowing their little ones are being well looked after and having fun
What’s Important to me has a childminder:
All my children’s needs are meet
All children feel happy and safe and part of our childminding family
That my setting feel like home from home for the children
Communication with parents
What would make me happy has a childminder:
That when my children leave me to start there school adventure they feel / have
Confident
Independent
Happy / confident to make friends
In my setting, I would like all the children in my care to be confident communicators. I am currently being trained by Surrey County Council in how to use the Early Years WellComm Toolkit. I aim to working collaboratively with you, and we can achieve this by enhancing children's communication skills within everyday routines and play-based activities using this toolkit.
The Early Years WelComm Toolkit is a speech and language toolkit for Childminders working with children aged 6 months to 6 years of age in their setting. The toolkit is a screening tool that will support me to identify children who may need additional support and therefore will help me to implement language-building strategies into everyday routines to promote positive outcomes.

She is very loving, reliable and i am completely at ease when my child is with her. I would highly recommend her to family and friends. My child loves going there and had made some new friends.

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better childminder. From the very start Sam made my then 4 month old and 3 year old feel like they were her own. Both of them settled well with Sam.
They are so comfortable with her and happy to wake up and go to Sam, excited to see what the day holds for them with Sam's fun learning activities she plans for the kids. We've seen how our children's confidence has grown and so heart warming to see it.
The regular updates and communication from Sam is just the cherry on top helping us feel connected to their daily activities and routines.
We are so fortunate to have found Sam and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other parents looking for a childminder to look after their little loved ones. She takes care of them as her own.
