About Me

Hello. My name is Cora and I am a 27 year old friendly, qualified teacher. I am currently working a full time job in a special needs primary school.

I have previous experience caring for young children in Northern Ireland, Yorkshire and Merseyside. I can help with your child in the evenings and the weekend, please message me for availability. As I work in a SEN school, I have a full enhanced DBS and I also hold a full driving license. I have my own car which I can use if needed (appropriate seating will need to be provided for younger children).

I charge £15 per hour, however this can be discussed and adapted depending on what you need me to do.
For overnight stays, I will discuss and agree a rate with you. This includes making children tea, helping with homework and cleaning the house if you so wish.

As well as 6 years full time teaching experience, I have previous experience of babysitting, child minding, running summer camps and volunteering with young children.

My Experience

I have previously been a childminder for a range of families in their own homes. I also have significant experience working alongside a registered child minder, in her own home, with children aged from 6 months to 12 years old.
In addition, as a full-time, qualified teacher, I have experience working with a range of primary aged children in a number of schools, including special needs experience in a special needs school.
Furthermore, I have worked with children in a sports’ summer camp and coached a number of sports and recreation clubs.
Finally, I have an up-to-date DBS check.

My Qualifications

I am a fully qualified teacher with an up to date DBS check.

My Availability

My availability is in line with my full time job.
During term time, I am free evenings, weekends and some term time holidays. As long as jobs are requested in advance, I can try accommodate these as best as possible during these times.
