About Me
My name is Lucimara and I have been a qualified Outstanding Ofsted registered childminder serving in Barnet for 10 years, with 2 lovely qualified assistants.
I provide childcare from a welcoming and safe home environment.
I have been living at my address for 20 years with my husband and 2 daughters (one in secondary school and the other finished university).
Our home has been completely adapted to provide the best childcare. We have a very large range of toys and books. We carry out activities to help children develop different learning areas every day and ultimately be well-prepared to start school. We also take pride in our freshly prepared nutritious food, that has been consistently praised. We also have a fantastic garden area with a trampoline, slide, and many outdoor activity toys.
We also have trips to the RAF museum, the Farm and the park.
I have places for children aged 4 months and above.

I have raised my own two children, and I have been working as a Childminder for 10 years and I have been credited Outstanding by Ofsted.
In those years I have cared for children from 4 months to 4 years old, and after school children.
I have also taken care of children with different special needs and disabilities.

It's difficult finding a childminder you can trust to look after your little one, but we got lucky in finding Mara.
Our son was under Mara's care for the second year of his life. He was given the level of love and nurturing you could only hope for from a childminder, certainly far beyond what a nursery can offer.
Every morning our son was so excited to be greeted by Mara, Justyna, Nadima and his friends. He would always come home happy having had a day of fun, learning and a belly full of Mara's hearty home cooked food.
Our son had the most magical year with Mara and her team and we're sure he felt they have been like family to him. Mara was extremely flexible and understanding of any requests and her love for the children shone through. Mara is always positive and jolly.
We moved out of London, but if we hadn't, our son would most certainly have remained in Mara's care until school. Despite being away from London we regularly keep in touch and see Mara and her team when we can.
We cannot recommend Mara and her team highly enough; a truly home from home environment with the most competent and devoted carers any parent could wish for.

My son attended Mara’s setting full time from the age of one for 3 years and my daughter attended for over a year from the age of 9 months. The care given to our children by Mara and her team was exceptional and will be difficult to match elsewhere. She really does provide a home from home environment which is both caring and stimulating along with 3 freshly cooked meals a day.
My children have loved their time with Mara and we were all very sad to leave. We moved away from London otherwise our children would, without any doubt, have remained here throughout their preschool and primary school years.
