Hello, I’m Kate! I have been nannying for over a decade and consequently I have had a broad range of childcare experience from babies to teens. I’m looking for a position that is more local and ideally three days a week, as my eldest is sitting her GCSE’s this October. If you are looking for some daytime help, occasional weekend help or even Home-Ed help, then get in touch.
My Experience
For the last three years I have been a live-in governess in London for two amazing primary aged children (one girl and one boy), before that I was their nanny, specialising in child-led learning and Montessori based pre-school education. I enjoy spending time outdoors; all the children that I have cared for mastered gross motor skills at a young age, but I also value practical life activities, such as learning to set the table, how to clean dishes, or how to water and care for plants. My Montessori style approach encourages detailed, considered work, involving fine motor skills but I am also very creative at heart and love getting hands messy, cooking, crafting and open-ended play.
My Qualifications
BA English and Creative Writing 2010-2013.
GCSE Level 1 A103 Introduction to Humanities OU 2008.
Foundation Degree in Art and Design 1998-1999.
3 A-levels and 8 A-C GSCE’s 1994-1998.
My Availability
My position will be coming to an end shortly, as both children will be attending school in September 2025. I would be available with a month’s notice.
My current available days to work are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & most Fridays. With the possibility of occasional overnights and weekend work.
