I really love and enjoy being a babysitter. I love interacting with children because they have the amazing curiosity and view of the world. I love meeting the children’s families and sharing their space, the way they live and interact with each other.
I am a creative individual who loves painting, singing, craft work like drawing, making arts and crafts. I enjoy problem solving and I am very good at multitasking. I find it a joy working with children everyday, to me it’s not a job. I have looked after children with a range of ages. Between 03 months to 12 years. I have a wealth of experience dealing with children from different social and cultural backgrounds and with different needs, and learning abilities.
I have experience as a nursery assistant for 2 years but I gave that up because of studies. I took up babysitting instead which is a much more rewarding experience because I get to know the children I look after better, understanding and appreciating their amazing personalities and forging a close friendship and a world of fun and learning.
My Experience
Supervise and monitor the safety of children in my care
Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children
Help children keep good hygiene
Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allow children to learn about the world and explore interests
Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents
Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest
