About Us

Building Blocks Child Care (Preston) Ltd is a family orientated child care facility who provides care for babies and children up to the age of 5 years. We are regulated by OFSTED and open five days a week Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 6:00pm.



Building Blocks Child Care offers 3 light and airy rooms with the availability of continuous provision and free access to outdoor facilities which are always supervised. Our staff are dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment for all of the children. Our staff will support each child as an individual, which together with an environment in which they will be able to reach their full potential. Our practitioners will nurture the children, allowing them to learn and grow into confident and independent individuals, who are ready for the next challenges that school will offer them.

All of our staff have many years’ experience and hold child care qualifications at level 3 and above. In addition to this extensive industry training in all areas of nursery care including paediatric first aid, food hygiene, health and safety, special educational needs and safeguarding children are undertaken throughout the nursery. We constantly review and update staff qualifications to ensure the highest standard of care for your child. Our policies on safer staff recruitment ensure that all of our staff and regular volunteers hold enhanced DBS disclosures.
