About Me

I am 25 years old, and have a passion for working with children. I love encouraging children and watching them become the best version of themselves. I am currently a trainee teacher in my final year, studying Early Childhood Studies at Stranmillis University. I go to the gym in my spare time and enjoy eating out in restaurants.

My Experience

I have worked with children of all ages for eight years now, in both voluntary and paid capacity. I volunteer as a Girls Brigade leader on a Tuesday evening and have been a member of the company from the age of two. I previously worked as a Special Educational Needs Classroom Assistant for three years. During summer of 2019 and 2022 I travelled to New York, USA to work in a summer camp called Camp Kennybrook as a Dance Counsellor. At camp I lived in a very intense environment surrounded by children 24/7, including mealtimes, teaching lessons, and sharing a bunk with 10-12 children. In summer 2023 I returned to camp as a Division Group Leader with 51 children and 10 staff under my direct care.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 Classroom Assistant Course which I completed in June 2018.
I am currently studying BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies at Stranmillis University College.

My Availability

I am available Monday after 4pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after 6pm and Saturdays all day.
