About Me
I studied for degrees in Mathematics at Keele University and Oxford University and have over 35 years teaching experience in Private Schools, Grammar Schools and Colleges.
I am also a tutor for Oxford Home Schooling and for The Open University.
I have had articles published in "Mathematics in Schools" and several worksheets
I have provided private tuition also for about 35 years now, and have had literally hundreds of successful students credited to my record over that time.
I provide a very professional service and tutor not only those at school, but also to adults.
I pride myself in providing first class tuition through my years of experience and excellent subject knowledge. Having set many exams over the years I teach students precisely how to answer exam questions to maximise their marks.
I cater for all levels and all ages : Basic Maths, Entrance Exams, 11+, 13+, SATs, GCSE, AS/A Level, Further Maths, etc.
Most of my pupils travel to me but I also offer Online Tuition.

I have been tutoring for about 35 years. This includes :
5 Years at Sherborne (Boys) School,
20 Years at Bournemouth Grammar School, and
9 years at an Independent College in Bournemouth as a Maths Teacher and Head of Statistics.
Cover teacher at Talbot Heath School, Bournemouth.

I studied for a BA (Hons) and an MSc in Mathematics.

My daughter has been having maths tuition with Raj for a year. When she first started she was really struggling with confidence and would panic when asked a maths question. Raj is so kind and patient and our daughter is now excelling with her maths. She really enjoys going to see Raj and says that he is very good at explaining maths to her in a way that she understands. I am so pleased wth the change we have seen and it is lovely to have a daughter who is now confident when answering questions.
