Outstanding tutor

Charlotte has been providing weekly tutoring for our 8-year-old son for the past 2½ years, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Our son has autism and ADHD and struggles at school, and Charlotte has been an incredible source of support throughout this time.
She is kind and encouraging, very professional and always comes prepared. She really understands how to adapt her teaching to our son's needs. She always brings a wide variety of activities to keep the lessons enjoyable. She is so kind and patient ! When we looked for a SEN tutor, it was important for us to find someone with experience, and Charlotte's background as an experienced primary school teacher gave us great confidence from the start.
Thanks to Charlotte's support, our son has really grown in confidence and has made very good progress in both reading and maths. Finding a tutor with the right experience, understanding and patience to support a child with special needs is not easy, and we feel very fortunate to have found her. We would 100% recommend Charlotte as a private tutor.
In addition to tutoring, Charlotte has also babysat for our son, and we would highly recommend her in this role as well. She is reliable, caring, and has built a great relationship with our son. We are very grateful for all the support she has provided our family over the years.

Fantastic tutor! Highly recommended

We started searching for a tutor for our son during all of the disruption in schooling caused by Covid in 2020. Mainly, this was to help him transition into year 5 and catch up with his education but more recently has morphed into supporting us in preparation for the 11+.

Charlott has provided regular weekly and also ad hoc year 5 and 11+ tuition for our son in both a 121 and group format and I can't recommend her highly enough!

She is an engaging, thoughtful, patient tutor, who clearly takes great care and attention to understand each students needs. She was also fantastic in keeping me and my partner informed about our sons progress, offering her insights into his strengths and areas to develop as well as guidance on extra resources, and helping us to figure out the application system, deadlines etc etc

Our son has grown in confidence over the time we've worked with Charlott, and that in itself is a reflection of her approach and ability! Thankyou so much again for everything!!
