My Experience

I have over 6 years of experience working with children and young people aged 3–18 across home and school settings. My background includes working as a qualified primary teacher, a pupil support assistant in specialist provision schools, a private tutor, a babysitter, and I currently teach in an ASN high school.
I have supported children with a wide range of additional support and medical needs, including autism, epilepsy, PEG feeding, wheelchair use, hoisting, physiotherapy programmes, medication administration (including emergency medication), and complex behaviours. My experience enables me to provide high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each child's individual needs. I am confident supporting a wide range of behaviours and understand that every child communicates and responds differently. I'm always happy to arrange a phone call, FaceTime, or a meet-and-greet beforehand where appropriate, so we can discuss your child's needs and ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident before care begins.

First Class Honours degree in Education
GTCS Registered Teacher
Current ASN High School Teacher
PVG checked
Safeguarding and Child Protection trained
Trained in PEG feeding and medication administration (including emergency medication)
Makaton Level 4 qualified
Training in sensory profiles and supporting sensory needs
Extensive experience supporting children and young people with additional support and complex medical needs

My Availability

I am based in Glasgow and offer weekend babysitting and occasional respite care for families across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
As I work full-time as a teacher, I mainly provide occasional and one-off childcare rather than regular weekly bookings. I am also available during most school holidays, although availability may vary. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and I'll do my best to help.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £25.00 per hour

My standard rate is £25 per hour.
I mainly provide occasional babysitting and respite care. Overnight care may be available by prior arrangement and is priced separately depending on your child's individual needs and the level of care required throughout the night.
Please note that my fee may vary for additional children, as this is dependent on the level of care required. I would be very happy to discuss this with you.
