About Me
Hello! I’m Taytania – though most people know me as Tay.
I’m a kind, caring, and responsible nanny with over 6 years of dedicated nannying experience. Before becoming a nanny, I worked in a nursery and also volunteered at a local primary school. Even as I was growing up, I naturally gravitated towards childcare, often helping out with neighbours’ children.
I truly love what I do and thoroughly enjoy being active with the children I care for. You’ll often find us out and about exploring local beaches, parks, playgroups, and classes – making full use of the wide range of memberships I hold to keep our days varied, fun, and enriching.
In addition to regular nannying, I also offer ad hoc care and proxy parenting depending on my availability.

With over 6 years of professional nannying experience, 3 years as a nursery practitioner, and more than 7 years in hospitality with a strong background in cooking, I bring a versatile skill set to childcare.
I also have over 15 years of ad-hoc care experience.
My background includes caring for multiple children, supporting nanny shares, working with twins, and providing tailored care for children with SEN needs.
Families can rely on me for nurturing, reliable, and flexible support.
My Qualifications
I hold 7 GCSEs, a Health and Social Care Diploma, and a Level 3 in Childcare, with all up-to-date training including Safeguarding, Health & Hygiene, COSHH, Paediatric First Aid, as well as a full clean UK driving licence.
My Availability
Due to one of my wonderful long-term nanny families sadly transitioning to school (where does the time go? ?), I will have some rare weekday availability from September 2026.
This means I will have some rare availability for Monday to Thursday for the right family.

Tay is wonderful with our daughter and dog. I never have to worry when leaving my baby in the evenings. We have been using Tay for babysitting and I’d recommend her to anyone. She has a very gentle and nurturing manner and my daughter loves spending time with her.

Tay has been our nanny for a little over two years. She started with our family when my youngest boy was nine months old and her responsibilities are to care for him and she is also responsible for the school run for my eldest boys. She works for me 3 days a week.
My three boys adore Tay, they are so excited to see her in the morning and my school age children really look forward to the days that they get to spend with her during school holidays.
Tay is always punctual, professional and loving to the children. She always takes the time and effort to consider the needs of all three of my boys and ensures any activities or outings appeal to each of them. Tay is always extremely flexible and is always happy to adapt her working day or stay a few extra hours if needed. She’s also happy to jump in and help with anything required from school such as fayres or fancy dress. Tay is prompt responding to messages and sends pictures throughout the day of my now three-year-old and all his adventures.
Any family would be lucky to have Tay join them. I couldn’t have done the last few years without her and I trust her completely. (She also always leaves the house tidier than she found it which I am infinitely grateful for).

We couldn’t be happier with the support we’ve received from Tay. She’s absolutely brilliant with our three young kids, one of whom is neurodivergent and has complex behavioural issues. They all love her to bits, and are thrilled when it’s a “Tay Day”. Tay takes them out and about for all sorts of fun outings which they all really enjoy, which is no mean feat with a 5, 3 and 1 year old! Tay is always punctual, has excellent communication, and tries to be as flexible and available as possible, even on evenings and weekends. And she always leaves the playroom tidier than she found it. If we could rate her higher than five stars, we would.

I would highly recommend Taytania to any family. She’s been absolutely wonderful and so loving and caring for both our 8 month old daughter and playful dog. They both jump up and down with excitement when her car pulls up. She’s very proactive and goes above and beyond with. We care a lot about outdoor play and she always makes sure they do fun activities outside come rain and shine. On top of that she leaves the kitchen and play areas spotless.

Tay looked after our 3.5 year old twins three days a week during the summer holidays. She was absolutely brilliant at keeping them entertained. They had the best time! Every day Tay came up with creative activities and visits. We loved receiving the photos of them beaming with joy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tay.

Tay nanny’s for my two boys and I couldn’t ask for more. The boys have both taken to her really well. She has been able to continue their routine in their home, with school nursery pick ups. Shes flexible as sometimes my job means I finish Later than expected. She takes them on days out, cooks dinner and provides them with the comfort and security needed when in her care. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Tay is a professional, approachable and caring childminder. My daughter looks forward to spending time with her.
Tay is available at all hours, which has been extremely advantageous for myself as a single parent, as this has allowed me a social life. Tay is competent in all aspects of her role, so I never worry about asking her to collect my daughter or cooking her dinner (and I even come home to the washing up having been done too)
I was nervous about having a childminder, but I cannot recommend Tay highly enough.

Taytania has been babysitting for us for the past 6 months, we are very grateful to have found her. She is wonderful with our two children, the youngest is a lockdown baby so a bit nervous around people but he warmed to Tay quickly which is so reassuring for us and allows us to enjoy ourselves when we go out. She is a pro through and through, always reliable and punctual. Really couldn't recommend her more.

Tay has babysat a few times now and my kids love her. Nothing is too much trouble. She is professional, curtious and ensures my kids are having fun. She has always been available in emergency cover which has been a lifesaver for me so I am very grateful. I would thoroughly recommend Tay for her hard work ethic and standards of care.
