About Me
I'm a postgraduate medical student at the University of St Andrews, looking for some part-time/one off childcare work. I'm very outdoorsy and love sports, as well as reading and music. I have my own car so am able to drive.
I love children and I believe in the need for a child to know and trust an adult coming into their home, therefore I am more than happy to meet you and your child (children) to get to know them before anything is agreed upon.
I love dogs and other animals, and am more than happy to pet sit as well as baby sit (I'm currently missing my own doggy very much)!
My Experience
I am a fully qualified sailing instructor and have been teaching children (age 8-18) how to sail for 8 years.
At home I volunteered as a Beaver Scout Leader; I helped look after children aged 6-8, planned and ran activities both indoors and out.
When I'm home from University I regularly babysit for a family with three children aged 4-10.
I was a temporary nanny to a family with two children aged 5 and 7 for 5 months.
I have worked with children with ADHD, mild Autism and FASD.

Full UK Driving Licence (2018)
Pass Plus (a government approved advanced driving course)
My Availability
I'm mainly available in the evenings and during some weekends, but if you get in touch with me we can discuss availability in more detail as my timetable varies! As a student I do end up with a lot of free time, and therefore I'm often available to babysit at short notice.
