My Summary
About Me
I provide early morning care from 6.30am and school runs in the morning and afternoon to Whitwell Primary School.
I am open until 6pm and provide Afternoon Tea/substantial snack straight after school.
I use two indoor rooms in my home for childminding and we have a generous garden and patio area for outdoor play where children are encouraged to discover and imagine using loose parts and natural resources. I often meet up with other childminders during the day and we take the children to museums, galleries, parks, woods, forest school, National Trust and English Heritage properties, as well as occasional soft play and playgroups. We also do this in school holidays with all the older children too!
I live with my husband and 3 children, and we have 2 cats and a dog
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2013 and previously was a primary school teacher. I have qualifications in first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene, and BSL. I also have experience working with children with additional needs including autism
My Qualifications
I completed the BIRT childminder training with Derbyshire County Council in November 2012, since then I have completed paediatric first aid courses and safeguarding every 3 years. I am also a qualified primary school teacher.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fee is £5/hour, payable in advance for the month ahead. Full hour fees are applicable to all contracts and will not be pro-rated for partial hours
