Hello! I am originally from South Shields but have been living in London for 15 years now. I love travelling and seeing new places, I spent a year teaching preschool in China and two years teaching in India but sadly had to come home due to the pandemic then started my teaching degree but went back to visit/help at my old school in India for four months last year in 2023 which is why I am now looking for a new position. I'm quite a busy/active person but I am always reliable once I have agreed to something. With the children in my care I enjoy going to the park, crafting, visiting galleries, cycling and swimming/sports.
As a childcarer I am gentle, caring, kind, trustworthy, honest and also very easy to talk to. I am very friendly, good humoured and happy to help in any way I can and will always help around the house. I also believe in child centered learning.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 10 years now and was a childcarer for 5 years on/off for a family of four ranging from 4 to 15. I also have a lot of early years and preschool experience as well as baby experience as I have 5 nieces and a nephew.
Three years ago I completed my PGCE in secondary Art and I was working at an alternative education primary school in Catford up until recently where I left my role as the school relocated to Kent so I am looking for a new childcare position preferably something full time Monday to Thursday/ Friday if the right role comes along but also open to part time (only if full days) depending on the hours as I would be happy to work with a few families throughout the week.
I love working with children and especially love being outdoors, playing in the park, exploring new areas and used to work part time in a forest school.
My Qualifications
BA Hons in Fine Art & Sculpture, Montessori training at River House Academy in Goa.
Last year I completed my Full Paediatric First Aid and forest school outdoor first aid.

I also do supply work for nurseries and primary schools so if you want only 2/3 days a week then I am able to do this on the other days to support my income. Additionally, I also do admin for a solicitors which I try to keep Fridays free for if you're not looking for 5 days but this is also flexible. Please don't hesitate to contact me, I am very honest and we can see what will work for both of us.
Just let me know what you're looking for and I have put my desired timings below, I prefer weekdays as I live with my partner so we like to spend weekends exploring or visiting family but I am open to the occasional weekend! Thank you!

- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
