My name is Ruth, I am personable, confident, professional, kind and energetic. I love nothing more than being outdoors, exploring the world around me and incorporating nature into activities and play.
I am an animal and nature lover, I have a keen interest in the environment especially ecology, natural history and conservation. I love exploring landscapes either on my bike or hiking in the hills. I take every opportunity to experience the world around me. I do enjoy many outdoor sports, including climbing, snowboarding and mountain bike orienteering.
My Experience
I have worked as an outdoor education practitioner for almost 6 years, delivering nature based activities to children of all ages. I am also a qualified teacher and have previously taught in a school setting for 4 years. I foster an active and engaging environment that encourages children to participate and help them with their development. I also have my own daughter who is under 1

My Availability
I am currently on maternity leave.There is the potential I will be available for longer and if I find the right family I would love to make it a long term position. I can offer babysitting, nanny services, housekeeping or private tutoring.
