I am 30years old and I am a fun and bubbly person. I work full time in a SEMH School working with children from all aspects of life with many different Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. I have been here for 3 years now.
In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog Reggie and spending time with my family. I like to play football and play for a local women’s football team, I love the outdoors.
I believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, it's bad clothing.
I'm not afraid to jump in those puddles and play with mud, it can all be washed away, but fun memories stay forever.
My Experience
I currently work in a school full time, helping looked after children and children with social emotional and behavioural difficulties to succeed and to help them with behavioural regulation. I also have a significant amount of experience working with babies and children. I have around 6 years working for a nursery and also unpaid experience in other nurseries whilst on placement for college and university. I have also worked on a 1:1 basis with children with SEN such as Autism and Angolan syndrome. I have also worked with teenagers for the county council as a youth worker working with children and young people ages between 11 - 18 years. I also have 2 years experience working in children's residential care home, and this has been challenging however very rewarding.
My Qualifications
BA Honours Degree in Childhood Studies 0-18 years, I graduated with a 2:2 from Sheffield Hallam University.
BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care Learning and Development Level 3.
I have recently completed my first aid training and I have a DBS on the update online service.
