My Experience

I teach Phonics, KS1, maths, reading and writing and I am currently teaching Year 6 so I have experience of supporting pupils to reach the expected standard at the end of KS2.

Being creatively minded, I aim to deliver the curriculum in a fun and engaging way that uses visual approaches to aid learning. I aim to identify gaps, address misconceptions and provide further challenge when required.

I will update you after every lesson, letting you know how your child got on with the topics covered. This ensures that you are aware of any areas of misconception and where your child has excelled.

I also prefer working alongside the school's curriculum so any curriculum maps and additional coverage from the school will be useful. I find that having continuity across home and school is vital in making sure that your child's knowledge is enhanced to the best of their ability.

Phonics lessons target early reading, spelling and handwriting using a multi-sensory approach.

My Qualifications

GCSEs and Alevels: A - C
Foundation degree in Art and Design
Degree in Creative Digital Media
PGCE with QTS in Primary Education

My Availability

Areas covered: Stoke Mandeville, Wendover, Princes Risborough, Aylesbury, Great Missenden and Hughenden.

Lessons are delivered 1:1 within your home and these are available over the weekend and weekdays.
