Hi !
I am a mother of three, wife and a qualified (QTS) experienced school science teacher with over 12 years experience working in state & independent schools. I also have 10+ years experience of tutoring science, English & maths at Key Stages 1, 2, 3,4 and GCSEs including students with SEN such as autism, dyspraxia, dyslexia and ADHD.
I have a passion for educating children and I firmly believe that every child should be encouraged to reach their full potential despite any barriers to their learning they may face. The aim of the lessons provided by me are to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge children.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have met so many wonderful children that I’ve made an impact on and have had the privilege to form fantastic relationships with both them and their parents/carers.
I also offer - 1 to 1, 1:2 & group sessions up to 6 students.
My Experience
I have been teaching since 2012 in London UK. These include secondary, primary schools and SEN schools working with a variety of students of all abilities. All students I have taught have gained a deeper uderstanding of content in lessons and developed confidence.
I have experience working with children with Speech & Language difficulties, Mental Health issues, ADHD, Dyslexia, DCD (Dyspraxia) and many more. I’ve also worked with and supported children with none of these needs.
I’ve worked in different schools across London Boroughs and with a range of ages from Reception through to Year 11.
I have delivered GCSE biology, chemistry & physics lessons, handwriting, Maths & Literacy booster sessions, Science clubs, Reading, mentoring, Reading comprehension interventions, SATS preparation, Precision Teaching, Phonics and much more.
My Qualifications
I have a qualified teacher status (QTS), I also have a BSCs in biomedical sciences and 9 GCSEs including Maths, English and Science grades A-C.

Adiyo has been a fantastic tutor. She’s dedicated and responsible, always well organised, and clearly on a mission to give me the skills I need to tackle science topics on my own. She explains everything thoroughly, taking the time to make sure I actually understand rather than just rushing through. On top of that she’s genuinely patient, which makes a real difference when a topic doesn’t click straight away. I’d happily recommend her.

I have been incredibly grateful to have Adz as my son's tutor. She is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in her students' success. From the very beginning, she built a great rapport with my son and created a positive learning environment where he feels comfortable and confident.
What stands out most is how understanding and supportive Adz is when working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). She is incredibly patient, adapts her teaching methods to suit individual needs, and ensures that learning is both accessible and enjoyable. Adz has been fantastic in supporting my daughter who is in reception with her reading and writing . She is patient yet firm and I would highly recommend her .
