About Me
I’m an experienced childcarer and also a mum too! I work in a local school as a special support assistant (full time) which I throughly enjoy and am available for ad hoc babysitting work. I also enjoy cooking, reading, spending time with my family and chocolate!
My Experience
I’ve been working in Education since 2006 where I started my teaching career as a Nursery assistant whilst studying for my Montessori Diploma. Since then I’ve worked with primary and secondary school aged children and also children with special needs (particularly Autism) Prior to that I worked and lived in the French Alps as a chalet assistant which included Housekeeping & Nannying. I also cared for a boy (on the Autism spectrum) for many years and he’s now my daughter’s Godparent as we became like family.
My Qualifications
I’m Montessori trained and have a Teaching qualification.
I have a qualification in counselling children & Adolescents too.
My Availability
I’m only available in the evenings through the week and weekends for babysitting. As during the week I work in a school as a Teaching Assistant.
