Part Time Nanny Job in North Hertfordshire
About Me
We are an energetic, warm and welcoming family - myself and my husband, our 2 boys (12 and 9 years) and our loving 4yr old cavapoo. We enjoy being outdoors (particularly on the football pitch or cricket ground), getting creative and the boys have a healthy Beyblade and Pokemon addiction!
My Requirements
We have lived in Holwell for 2.5 yrs now and are looking for a nanny to provide wrap around +\- school holiday care for our boys. We are looking for a caring, patient, reliable person to embed themselves into our family long term, building a strong relationship and providing stability. Our boys are bright, inquisitive and are neurodivergent so experience in this area or a willingness to learn and adapt is essential! In line with this, unfortunately the position would not be suitable for someone wishing to bring their own child to work with them.
We would like wrap around care 2-4 days per week after school including pick ups from Wilshere Dacre and Priory School so driving license and use of a car are essential. In the school holidays we would look to either continuing wrap around (with pick ups from holiday clubs) or full day cover for 2-3 days/week. Happy to flex to add additional hours for household help/occasional evening babysitting if needed but this is not a requirement for the role.
We have had excellent relationships with our previous childminder and nanny, and are happy to negotiate salary and other terms based on experience and flexibility.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Reviews I've Written

Satu cared for our 2 boys (8+5) after school and in school holidays, often alongside her own children. She is professional, considerate and thoughtful, and shows initiative when managing children with additional needs. She is passionate about early years and primary education and was able to support the boys in doing homework as well as providing fun activities including baking, arts and crafts and trips out. Satu clearly demonstrates a love for her job, a great sense of humour and a capacity to gain new skills and apply them effectively. We are happy to recommend her!

Thank you. It has been a pleasure and I will miss you all so much! X
Kate and her team have looked after our boys since they were toddlers. Her enthusiasm and cheer is infectious and the team's hard working, compassionate attitude make for a safe, inclusive environment. Our children are energetic, inquisitive and mischievious but their natures are encouraged and nutured with Kate, and she continues to help them develop their skills in empathy and compromise. I don't think we could have hoped for a better childcare setting for them, and for that we will always be grateful.
