We are a busy and vibrant childcare service providing out of school care and holiday club to families across East Renfrewshire with 3 services based in Netherlee, Clarkston and Newton Mearns. We currently require full-time childcare practitioners to join our team.

No two days are the same, so energy and creativity are a must! You might be leading an arts and crafts activity, doing a bit of home baking, refereeing a hockey match, going on a bear hunt, directing a play or supervising our homework corner. We’re very much child centred so the only limit to what we offer is the children’s imaginations.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the criteria for registration with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme, Scottish Social Services Council and will be reference checked.

Requirements: Our childcare practitioners must hold a relevant childcare or play-work qualification at SVQ level 3 or equivalent. This post will require registration with SSSC at Practitioner level.

Hours of Work - Successful applicants must be available for our hours of service: 7.30-9.00am & 3-6.15pm term time. Holiday club hours operate 7.45-6.15pm. Weekly contracted hours and flexible shift patterns are available by negotiation as we strongly believe in investing in our staff and promoting a healthy work/life balance.
