Part Time Nanny With Special Needs Experience Job In London Borough Of Bromley
About Me
I’m looking for a part time nanny with special needs experience (AuDHD) for my 6 year old son. Hours will be 3-7pm Monday-Thursday during term time and school holidays with after school pick up from a local school. Having a car is essential and ad hoc babysitting on occasional weekends will be ideal.
My Requirements
My son has AuDHD and needs extra support with social communication and emotional regulation. He is able to communicate his needs and can independently get dress and use the toilet himself. He will need support with his education development ie. KS1 homework, reading and writing in addition to providing creative and STEM related activities that support his sensory needs. Implementing a calming routine with no screen time is essential for him to focus and minimise over stimulation.

My first time using a babysitter and I felt very much at ease after meeting Deborah for the first time and hearing about her previous childcare experiences. She was patient with my son and very nurturing and understanding towards my son’s communication needs - my son instantly appeared comfortable with her. She prioritised building a good relationship with him and was very efficient and arrived slightly earlier than the arranged time to allow for me to leave promptly. Deborah communicated with me throughout the time she was with my son, updating me on their activities together which put me at ease and he seemed to have enjoyed himself. I will definitely be using Deborah’s services again in the future and I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking a babysitter.
