Looking for wraparound care from Jan for boys aged 4 & 6
My Requirements
We are looking for wraparound care which would be 2 hours in the morning (7am-9.15am to include school drop off) and 5 hours in the afternoon (2pm-7pm to include school pick up), Mon-Thur.
During school holidays we would ask for 3 full days a week (can be flexible on which ones).
The school is on the road adjacent to our home so just a couple of minutes walk. The role would also include preparing kids dinner, assistance with their laundry, housekeeping & general organisation (the afternoon beginning at 2pm to accommodate this with school pickup not being until 3.20pm).

Joy has looked after my eldest since he was around 1, joined by his little brother a year and a half later. A house move has meant they've sadly had to move on from Joy's setting.
Firstly I should say I'm pretty sure Joy has super powers. Her energy, patience, and affection for the children seems to be unlimited - and my difficult younger boy has tested this thoroughly!
I've said this to Joy and to many people - it's hard to make decisions as a parent, and more so to feel like they're 100% the right ones. Sending my boys to Joy to care for is hands down the best parenting decision I ever made, and one I've never doubted.
Joy takes the children out almost every day, unless the weather is extreme. They go to parks, forests, gardens, etc - She completely promotes learning through play, lets the children explore and learn at their own pace. She takes as much delight in their discoveries as they do and it's clear to see.
Inside, Joy's space is full of all sorts of fun and educational toys, and she gets to know what they each like and makes sure there's something for them to enjoy. She does educational activities, crafts and cooking with the kids, and there's always something beautiful sent home to mark an occasion like Christmas, Mother's day, etc.
Every day we received tons of gorgeous photos of the boys so I always felt connected to them and their day to day at Joy's. As a working parent it's just invaluable to have photos of them enjoying their day, out and about and at their happiest, and we will treasure them forever.
Joy is excellent with manners, from the moment they can speak they're using please and thanks yous brilliantly, asking politely to leave the table, etc - their nusery has commented on the amazing manners of my just-turned-2-year-old - this is definitely solely down to Joy!
There are so many little things she does for the kids, I could rave about Joy all day. I cannot recommend Joy highly enough or thank her enough for the love and care she and her family have shown my little boys. We all miss her so much.

Kathryn looked after our boys 1 & 3 for the first time today and we're all looking forward to having her over again. They both felt immediately comfortable with her, even my younger boy who's known to struggle with new people. Not so with Kathryn. She was so calm, kind and professional. The boys were so engaged with her and had a lovely time. She is great fun and clearly very experienced with little ones and I'd definitely recommend her.
