About Me
Hi There!
My name is Serjuntae. I am a 22-year-old Mum to my beautiful 19-month-old daughter, who has brought such light and love into my world. I am also a BCU University student going into my third year, this September, studying BSc Social Work. Due to studying, I am quite busy with assignments and placement during term time and am in need of a solid and trustworthy support system. This includes reliable childcare.
My babygirl is currently at nursery until AUGUST 2021. We have decided to move her from her current nursery as it is quite far from our home and I would like her to be somewhere a lot closer to the area. From this point, I would like to explore a more intimate, one-to-one childcare setting such as a childminder as I think my daughter will benefit from this coming from such a busy nursery environment. She loves to explore, sing and dance and is also very good at talking and expressing her needs. For example, saying 'no' and 'yes, please'. She is going through a stage now where she may throw a tantrum due to frustration or being over-stimulated. I really would like someone who is patient with her through these moments and provides the same sort of emotional support and care I would when it comes to challenging behaviour and managing emotions.
My Requirements
The ideal childcare provider is registered or approved by:
- Ofsted
- the Care Quality Commission
- the Department for Education
Or an equivalent inspection body appointed by the Secretary of State to inspect certain independent schools.
-FirstAid Trained
Additionally, I’m very protective of my babygirl as she’s my first and only child so I’d just really love someone who is kind, nurturing, playful and happy to treat her as if she was one of their own.

Only needed care for my daughter for a few days as I’m a full time student and had assignments due. my daughter was recovering from a bug she caught at nursery but was otherwise healthy and happy within herself and getting over it.
On meeting Natalie she was a lovely girl and got on really well with my daughter the first day she came and watched her during the day with myself present. However when it came to looking after her the next evening just for a few hours It seemed to be issues. Once baby woke up, she tried getting her back down for sleep but couldn’t manage and I was asked to come back home only half an hour after reaching my destination on my evening out because she “doesn’t like seeing her so upset”. After this, I was then told that same evening that she will not be looking after my daughter anymore because she was warm and had a cough, however my daughters temperature was never checked with a thermometer and my child is noticeably teething so fussiness and discomfort are normal. I was not happy with such an abrupt change to all of my plans as we had an agreement and it’s really set me back. Would’ve preferred a bit more professionalism.
