Hi, my name is Vanessa. I live in Tring (Hertfordshire). I am a very pro active person and in my spare time I like to take my dog for walks and spend time with my family. I am looking for a full or part time position within the local area. I am also happy to take on house keeping duties and I am also happy to help out with pets within the family (dog walking and general pet care).
My Experience
I have over 18 years of experience working with children specifically early years ,although I have worked with children of all ages. I have a wealth of knowledge and understanding and I have SEN experience. I Currently have two roles , I work as a housekeeper in the morning ( with ad hoc babysitting duties) my afternoon role is that of an after school Nanny, with some housekeeping duties, my afternoon role is ending very soon so from the beginning of August 2025 I am looking for a new role as an after school nanny/housekeeper . Previous to my current role, I worked in a school setting primarily as a teaching assistant but I also managed a breakfast and afterschool club within the school. I have trained and have experience in Phonics, handwriting practice, makaton sign language and supporting children with speech and language needs. I am a friendly , fun person with a caring nature.
I am a very flexible person and this has worked well in my career and for the current families I work with.

I have an NVQ level 2 early years and childcare qualification. I am DBS checked and I have my paediatric first aid up to date.
