About Me
I have a 4 year old boy, Sebastian, and a 1 and half year old girl, Poppy. Sebbie went to nursery when he was one for a 1.5 years but then we took him out when Poppy was born. It has been so lovely to have the two of them at home with me whilst on maternity leave and the bond between them is now very strong. Sebbie is a sensitive soul and Poppy is a little more active, copying every move and wanting to do everything her brother does. Sebbie loved nursery and is now at the Fetcham Preschool (starts at the infants school in September) and thrives when playing with other kids. Poppy is still at home where we juggle childcare with family help. My husband and I do lots with out kids and have a lovely home life. We moved to Fetcham last year and love the area. Both children love being outdoors and Sebbie has a real imagination, loves dressing up, role play and acting and seems to be in a different world every day- a real book worm. Poppy wants to be in the action and follows the big kids around!
My Requirements
I'm looking for a Registered Childminder. I work three days a week and looking for a childminder who can look after both children for two days a week (my mum and dad will have them both on a Tuesday) Ideally these days would be Wednesday and Thursday from approximately 8.30-5.30ish. It would be great to have some flexibility. Ideally we would need a childminder to help with non term time as well but we can have some flexibility here as parents and family could also help a little. We would need help with pick up and drop offs. Open to suggestion.

Kathryn has been everything we could possibly ask for when thinking of someone suitable to look after our son. She has been our childminder for over a year for our now almost three year old, and she truly feels like another mummy to Ray. Kathryn has the most wonderful temperament and is so warm, friendly and kind. She gives Ray so much love and affection, and he feels completely safe and relaxed in her care. We trust her implicitly, and that’s all you could ever want in a childminder.
They are always out and about in the local area, visiting different playgroups, National Trust sites and going on walks, and they also love getting crafty at home. Kathryn has a loving home and a wonderful family, who Ray has also grown very fond of.
At pick-up, Kathryn always gives honest and clear feedback, letting me know what they’ve been up to, what Ray has eaten, nap times, nappy changes, anything to note etc.
Kathryn is incredibly reliable and always communicates well in advance about any changes or holiday dates and is also super flexible when I need her to be.
Ray often tells us that he misses 'my Kathryn', and we reassure him that he’ll see her tomorrow. We feel so lucky to have found Kathryn and honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a caring, loving and playful mother figure / best friend.
