About Me

An enthusiastic, confident primary classroom teacher and one-to-one tutor, I am motivated by working with and supporting young people, helping them to achieve their full potential. I am a bilingual French speaker.

I offer one-to-one tutoring for children aged 5-11 across all primary subjects, namely Maths, English and Reading. I can help with homework from school. As a bilingual French speaker, I can offer conversational French for up to GCSE level french exam preparation.

My Experience

I have 10 years teaching experience across all primary key stages. I have worked with children with SEN. Throughout this time I have worked as a one-to-one tutor.

Currently teaching in Year 1, I have in depth experience of teaching and securing phonics and early reading. Previously, I have taught across KS2, including several years in Year 6 preparing for KS2 SATS. As a one-to-one tutor I have been able to work with students preparing for SATS but also for 7+ and 11+ selective entry exams. When students' goals have not been for exam preparation, I have been able to work with them to secure basic skills and knowledge, boosting confidence and resulting in the student feeling confident and independent in their learning.

PGCE - in Primary education (French subject specialism)
BA - French, Italian and European Studies
